Why I started JessWorks

Finding a job isn’t as simple as walking into a business with a résumé anymore.

Today’s job market requires online applications, email accounts, uploaded documents, cover letters, employment websites, and applicant tracking systems that many people find confusing or intimidating.

After helping friends and family update résumés, write cover letters, create professional email accounts, and apply for jobs online, I realized how many qualified people were missing opportunities simply because they didn’t know where to start.
